Booking & Cancelation Policies

At The Skin Lounge, every appointment is intentionally reserved and thoughtfully prepared. These policies are in place to respect our clients, our practitioners, and the level of care we provide.

By booking an appointment, you agree to the following:

Appointments & Booking

A valid credit card is required to book all appointments.

  • First-time clients must secure consultations and treatments with a card on file.

  • Appointments are confirmed once booking is completed.

Consultations

  • Consultations are reserved, in-depth sessions and are not complimentary.

  • Consultations are required prior to advanced or corrective treatments.

Cancellations

Consultations & Advanced Treatments
(Microneedling, Plasma Pen, SkinTite, Jet Plasma, and all advanced treatments)

  • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule.

  • These appointments reserve 3–4 hours of provider time.

  • Cancellations or reschedules made within 48 hours will be charged 100% of the service fee.

  • No-shows are charged 100% of the service fee.

Standard Facials & Massage

  • Require 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours are charged 50% of the service fee.

  • No-shows are charged 100% of the service fee.

Rescheduling Policy

  • Appointments may be rescheduled a maximum of three (3) times.

  • Rescheduling is permitted only with at least 48 hours’ notice.

  • Requests inside the 48-hour window are not eligible for rescheduling.

  • After three reschedules, the full service fee will be charged on the day of the appointment and issued as a service credit.

  • Service credits must be redeemed within two (2) weeks or they expire.

  • No-shows do not receive service credit.

Late Arrivals

  • Please arrive on time for your appointment.

  • Late arrivals may result in a shortened service or forfeited appointment without price adjustment.

Packages & Prepaid Services

  • All packages and prepaid services are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Prepaid services must be used within 12 months of purchase.

  • Unused services expire after 12 months and are forfeited.

  • Package appointments follow the same cancellation and rescheduling policies.

Gift Cards

  • Gift cards expire two (2) years from the date of purchase.

  • Effective January 1, 2026, all gift cards will follow this two-year expiration policy.

  • Gift cards purchased prior to this date will also be honored for two years from purchase.

  • Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

  • Lost or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced.

Payments & Gratuity

  • Payment is due at the time of service unless prepaid.

  • We accept credit cards, cash, and cheque payments.

  • Cash or cheque payments receive a 3% courtesy discount.

  • Gratuity is optional and accepted via Tippy or cash only.

Medical Disclosure & Safety

  • Clients must disclose all medical conditions, medications, and relevant skin history.

  • The Skin Lounge reserves the right to modify or refuse treatment for safety reasons.

Results & Expectations

  • Results vary by individual and lifestyle.

  • No guarantees are made.

  • We practice pro-age, regenerative skincare focused on long-term skin health.

Client Conduct

  • Respectful behavior toward staff and other clients is required.

  • The Skin Lounge reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who repeatedly violates policies or professional boundaries.
